Season one of the Darian DeVries era ended in the Big Ten tournament and the roster for the 2026-27 season is beginning to take shape.<\/p>\n
The Hoosiers finished the 2025-26 season with an 18-14 record and a 9-11 mark in the Big Ten. IU was picked to finish 10th in the Big Ten and finished 10th. The program missed the NCAA tournament for a third consecutive season. IU\u2019s last appearance in the NCAA tournament came in 2023 under Mike Woodson.<\/p>\n
The transfer portal opened Tuesday, April 7, and six of IU\u2019s scholarship players from last season\u2019s roster have entered.<\/p>\n
We are also tracking all Big Ten transfer portal entries at this link<\/a> and incoming players to the Big Ten from the portal at this link<\/a>. Both lists are updated frequently.<\/p>\n Throughout the spring, we\u2019ll track Indiana\u2019s 2026-27 roster until it is complete. Here\u2019s our latest version of the 2026-27 IU basketball roster tracker:<\/p>\n Out of eligibility and not returning<\/p>\n Six IU players from the 2025-26 season have completed their eligibility and will not return for the 2026-27 season.<\/p>\n Tucker DeVries<\/a>, Lamar Wilkerson<\/a>, Tayton Conerway<\/a>, Conor Enright<\/a>, Reed Bailey<\/a> and Sam Alexis<\/a> were six of IU\u2019s top seven scorers from last season and will not be on IU\u2019s roster next season.<\/p>\n Confirmed to return for the 2026-27 season<\/p>\n Trent Sisley, who averaged 4.2 points and 2.8 rebounds in 13.1 minutes per game in the 2025-26 season as a freshman, will return to Bloomington for his sophomore season<\/a>.<\/p>\n He is the only returnee for IU basketball for the 2026-27 season and will be the leading returning scorer for the Hoosiers.<\/p>\n Entering the transfer portal<\/p>\n As of April 13, the other six IU players who were eligible to return next season have entered the transfer portal: Jason Drake<\/a>, Jasai Miles<\/a>, Josh Harris<\/a>, Aleksa Ristic<\/a>, Nick Dorn<\/a> and Andrej Acimovic<\/a>. <\/p>\n Drake announced his entry to the portal on Wednesday, April 1 and Miles and Harris both announced on Monday, April 6. Ristic announced his portal entry on Tuesday, April 7, Dorn entered the portal on Thursday, April 9 and Acimovic on Monday, April 13.<\/p>\n The portal will close on Tuesday, April 21.<\/p>\n Roster additions from high school<\/p>\n Indiana currently has three freshmen committed to join the 2026-27 roster.<\/p>\n The Hoosiers signed guard Prince-Alexander Moody and wing Vaughn Karvala last fall and landed a commitment from wing Trevor Manhertz in late January. The program has officially announced the signings of Moody and Karvala and is expected to announce Manhertz this spring, as he committed in late January.<\/p>\n IU\u2019s 2026 recruiting class is currently ranked among the top 20 classes nationally.<\/p>\n Roster additions from the transfer portal<\/p>\n IU basketball landed three transfer portal commitments on Monday, April 13.<\/p>\n In order, Jaeden Mustaf (Georgia Tech)<\/a>, Darren Harris (Duke)<\/a> and Markus Burton (Notre Dame)<\/a> committed to the Hoosiers, giving DeVries a solid start to his second portal class in Bloomington.<\/p>\n The portal opened on Tuesday, April 7 and will be open for 15 days. <\/p>\n
