This can be annoying when you&#8217;re alone, but even more compromising when someone is watching you fill out said form.<\/p>\n<p>Google understands that this can be an issue for some, and it is taking relevant action to mitigate the privacy issue.<\/p>\n<p>        <img width=\"440\" height=\"364\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Google Wallet logo with a red 'missing' tag and checkered transparency patterns on a yellow background\" data-img-url=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/google-wallet-logo-with-a-red-missing-tag-and-checkered-transparency-patterns-on-a-yellow-background.png\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/google-wallet-logo-with-a-red-missing-tag-and-checkered-transparency-patterns-on-a-yellow-background.png\"\/><\/p>\n<p>                    Related<\/p>\n<p>\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidpolice.com\/use-google-wallet-every-day-missing-features-still-annoy-me\/\" title=\"I use Google Wallet every day, but these missing features still annoy me\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><br \/>\n\t\t\tI use Google Wallet every day, but these missing features still annoy me<br \/>\n\t\t<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"display-card-excerpt\">These gaps are hard to ignore<\/p>\n<p>The tech giant just shared Google Play services v26.14 (2026-04-13)&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/product-documentation\/answer\/14343500\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">April 2026 release notes<\/a>, and they clearly lay out Google Wallet-related upgrades (via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidauthority.com\/google-wallet-private-passes-autofill-3657192\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Android Authority<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>                                         You can now control how private passes in Wallet work with other Google services like Autofill through new per-pass privacy settings.<\/p>\n<p>                                         You can now use a redesigned Wallet interface for quick access, search, and discovery.<\/p>\n<p>The latter doesn&#8217;t concern us here. Instead, it&#8217;s the former that&#8217;s going to bring privacy-related changes. According to it, users will have the option to individually define each pass&#8217; privacy settings, preventing some from automatically surfacing via Autofill unless explicitly permitted.<\/p>\n<p>This is different from the current implementation, where if you want Autofill to work with Google Wallet, you have to open the gates to all passes, IDs, cards, and more. <\/p>\n<p>Although not explicitly mentioned by Google, the folks over at Android Authority pointed at this being a generic privacy toggle.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Driver&#8217;s license&#8221;<br aria-hidden=\"&quot;true&quot;\"\/>Passport<\/p>\n<p>The update hasn&#8217;t landed widely just yet. Expect it to be available in phases over the coming weeks.
