It continued what\u2019s been a stellar last six months for Benn, including a rematch win over Chris Eubank Jr. and signing a $15 million deal with Dana White\u2019s Zuffa Boxing.<\/p>\n<p>Benn\u2019s deal with Zuffa Boxing added a new chapter to the budding feud between White and Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn. The two colorful personalities have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bjpenn.com\/boxing-news\/eddie-hearn\/eddie-hearn-reacts-dana-white-x-rated-jab-questioning-passion-fighting\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">traded barbs for months<\/a>, and a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bjpenn.com\/boxing-news\/eddie-hearn-responds-to-dana-whites-boxing-challenge-of-course-id-do-it\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">potential boxing match between them<\/a> has been proposed by both sides.<\/p>\n<p>As Benn got his hand raised against Prograis, White was in Miami for UFC 327, featuring Carlos Ulberg\u2019s come-from-behind win over Jiri Prochazka. Hearn, Benn\u2019s former promoter and longtime business partner, scolded White and Zuffa Boxing for not being represented in Benn\u2019s corner during fight week.<\/p>\n<p>Eddie Hearn scolds Dana White for \u2018not showing up\u2019 for Conor Benn\u2019s win<\/p>\n<p>In a recent appearance on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/live\/xNkRPU2GOKU?si=PwtFVO9dnT3rS_rp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">The Ariel Helwani Show<\/a>, Hearn reacted to White\u2019s no-show at the event.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was quite surprised that you\u2019d make that unbelievable investment, and not even turn up,\u201d Hearn said of White.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cObviously, I know he has his UFC events as well, but I didn\u2019t see any senior executive from Zuffa at the fight, in the changing room, and it\u2019s a pretty significant investment. You must have some serious money if you\u2019re just willing to spunk $15 million up the wall in a 10-round fight, and not even send anybody to sort of try and secure that deal [after] the one-fight deal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cQuite astonishing, they must be very confident they can carry on that agreement.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Benn\u2019s targeted return date and opponent for his one-fight deal with Zuffa Boxing have yet to be announced.
