{"id":607692,"date":"2026-04-15T04:11:13","date_gmt":"2026-04-15T04:11:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/607692\/"},"modified":"2026-04-15T04:11:13","modified_gmt":"2026-04-15T04:11:13","slug":"massive-attack-announce-new-single-with-tom-waits","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/607692\/","title":{"rendered":"Massive Attack Announce New Single with Tom Waits"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/artist\/massive-attack\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Massive Attack<\/a> are set to release a new single with <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/artist\/tom-waits\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Tom Waits<\/a> called \u201cBoots on the Ground.\u201d The track will <a href=\"https:\/\/tomwaits.ffm.to\/bootsontheground\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">debut<\/a> on Thursday, April 16th.<\/p>\n<p>Last fall, Massive Attack promised new music in 2026, but warned fans they <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/2025\/11\/massive-attack-new-music-not-spotify\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">wouldn\u2019t be able to find the tracks on Spotify<\/a>. The group\u2019s last recordings came in 2020 with their <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/2020\/07\/massive-attack-eutopia-stream\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Euotopia<\/a>\u00a0EP.<\/p>\n<p>For Waits, the collaboration marks his first new studio performance in eight years.
