ELKHORN, Nebraska — The UNI women’s golf team closed out their final tournament before the MVC Championship with a tie for seventh at the Stampede at the Creek, hosted by Omaha in Elkhorn, Nebraska. Drake claimed the team title, shooting a score of 906 (+42), while Omaha’s Katie Ruge took home the individual title, carding a 220 (+4).<\/p>\n
?Senior McKenna Mallow<\/a> led the way for the Panther women in a four-way tie for 19th place, shooting a 233 (+17). Mallow recorded a new low-round score of 76 in the third round, while sinking three birdies. Addison Berg<\/a> finished in a tie for 41st place, shooting 244 (+28). Berg shot 85-81-78 over the two-day tournament. Isabella Pettersen<\/a> finished right behind Berg, placing in a three-way tie for 43rd place, carding a 245 (+29). Pettersen shot consistently over three rounds with 83-81-81.<\/p>\n Jane Petersen<\/a> finished in 46th place, shooting a score of 246 (+30). Petersen shot 78-82-86 and sank two birdies. Competing as an individual, Molly Ratchford<\/a> placed in a tie for 55th place, recording a 251 (+35), while shooting 78-91-82 over three rounds. Greenlee Smock<\/a> finished in a\u00a0 tie for 59th place with a score of 254 (+38), finishing strong with an 82 (+10) in round two and an 83 (+11) in round three. Lauren Nuss<\/a> finished in a three-way tie for 63rd place with a 258 (+42), shooting 87-87-84 to close out the tournament for the Panthers.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0
