Singer Taylor Momsen<\/a> is currently on tour with iconic rockers AC\/DC<\/a>, but spent the night in hospital due to a venomous spider bite.<\/p>\n

The Pretty Reckless rocker<\/a> shared an update with her fans on Instagram after documenting the bite, showing the infection taking over her right leg.<\/p>\n

The 32-year-old uploaded a post from her hospital bed, pressing an ice pack to her forehead and shared more details about the nightmarish situation.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In one short clip, Momsen was being wheeled through the ward and has a clear red patch on her leg, outlined in pen to track the spread.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Nancy Wilson commented, “A world rock tour can sometimes be a war zone ! Heal like the wind and stay alert”.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Momsen’s hospital admission came just hours after she had posted that she was in hospital getting treatment for the bite.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Hospital today, show tomorrow, poisonous spiders are NO BUENO \ud83d\udd77\ufe0f\ud83d\udd77\ufe0fbut the show must go on, see you tomorrow Mexico City!” she captioned one post on Instagram.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the snap her leg was red, with blotchy patches all around the bite.<\/p>\n

“Superhero origin story,” commented one fan.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Almost a week ago the bite first happened, and the former Gossip Girl star revealed the insect took a “chunk” out of her leg.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“This time a massive spider decided to take a chunk out of me and its venom did a number on my system so had to have the wonderful doctors in Mexico come and deliver quite the shot before the show last night\u2026<\/p>\n

“Add it to the list! Spider woman? Batgirl? \ud83d\udd77\ufe0f\ud83d\udd77\ufe0f\ud83d\udd77\ufe0f\ud83e\udd87\ud83e\udd87\ud83e\udd87 WTF.”<\/p>\n

Poking a bit of fun at the situation, she added the Spider Man theme song to the video.<\/p>\n

The Pretty Reckless was opening for the Aussie rockers during a show when a bat landed on her leg mid-show. She was bitten and the ordeal prompted her to seek rabies shots.<\/p>\n
