Diesel drivers will finally get some relief at the bowser on Friday.<\/p>\n
In a rare switch up, the average price will drop by more than the price for unleaded petrol.<\/p>\n
According to FuelWatch, the average price of diesel in Perth is set to fall from Thursday\u2019s mark of 301.7c a litre to 295.8c \u2014 no doubt a welcome development for ute and SUV drivers.<\/p>\n
It will mark the first time diesel drops below an average of $3 a litre since March 23.<\/p>\n
Off-road lovers and big car fanatics are tipped to form a queue at Vibe Oakford tomorrow, which will have the cheapest diesel in Perth at 269.9c a litre.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, ULP is a whisker away from dropping below the $2 mark, with the average shifting from 207.2c down to 201.8c a litre.<\/p>\n
Vibe will remain the cheapest retailer on average in Perth, down to just 193.5c a litre. A far cry from the other end of the spectrum at Caltex where the average sits at 207.8c a litre.<\/p>\n
OMG Metro Dianella, Vibe Oakford and Vibe Welshpool will all offer the lowest ULP prices on Friday at 184.9c.<\/p>\n
Perth motorists will be over the moon that prices are steadily dropping back down day-by-day, but a wide margin remains between the city\u2019s cheapest servo (184.9c) and the dearest which will be above the staggering 250c mark.<\/p>\n
All products will see a drop in price, aside from E85 which will remain firm at 269.9c.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
