The Brisbane Broncos and Warriors have confirmed a player swap which will see Grant Anderson and Mitch Barnett switch clubs at the end of the year.<\/p>\n

Recruited to the club during the off-season, Anderson will depart the Broncos at the season\u2019s end and head across the ditch in the deal, with Barnett heading the other way.<\/p>\n

Anderson has struggled for playing time at Red Hill, only getting a run when the Broncos have been hit by injuries while Barnett requested a release earlier in the year on compassionate grounds.<\/p>\n

The Warriors were happy to honour Barnett\u2019s request, but only if they received adequate compensation in return.<\/p>\n

While he may not make the Warriors\u2019 first-grade team as it stands, they will lose Roger Tuivasa-Sheck at the end of the year and Dallin Watene-Zelezniak is off-contract. <\/p>\n

As reported by The Courier Mail\u2019s Pete Badel<\/a>, Anderson has agreed to a three-year contract with the Warriors worth around $400,000 a season.<\/p>\n

\u201cGrant is an accomplished outside back who has plenty to offer,\u201d Warriors head coach Andrew Webster said, confirming the news in a statement.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe gives us depth among our outside backs and will certainly add to competition in the squad.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll also benefit from the professional attitude he\u2019ll bring after four seasons with the Storm and now being part of the Broncos this year.\u201d<\/p>\n
