Hawthorn youngster Will McCabe will make his AFL debut this Saturday afternoon when the Hawks host Port Adelaide at Marvel Stadium.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The 20-year-old will become the Club\u2019s second debutant this season after being told the exciting news in front of his teammates on Thursday.<\/p>\n
McCabe, a first-round draft selection in 2023, is set to follow in the footsteps of his father, and 138 Hawthorn gamer, Luke.<\/p>\n
Originally drafted as a key defender, the 197cm South Australian product has furthered his development as a forward in recent seasons, highlighted by a four-goal, 20-disposal performance in the VFL just last month.<\/p>\n
Executive General Manager of Football Rob McCartney congratulated McCabe on his debut.<\/p>\n
