J. K. Simmons and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/anna-lambe\/\" id=\"auto-tag_anna-lambe_1\" data-tag=\"anna-lambe\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Anna Lambe<\/a> round out the cast.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tHeart of the Beast\u00a0centers on a former Army\u00a0Special Forces soldier (Pitt), who\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/david-ayer-paramount-heart-of-the-beast-damien-chazelle-1235858470\/\">fights for survival<\/a>\u00a0with his combat dog after a plane crash strands them in the Alaskan wilderness.\u00a0Ayer directed the project from a script by Cameron Alexander.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe trailer focuses on the bond between Pitt and his pooch. \u201cI\u2019m gonna get you home,\u201d Pitt assures the canine after their plane crashes. \u201cWe\u2019re just going to have to do this the hard way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThis footage also teases a frightening moment when Pitt and his dog cross a river, and Pitt\u2019s effort to keep his dog from falling leads himself to wind up in the water. Other moments involve the pair facing off with wild animals. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cOne last mission,\u201d Pitt says. \u201cI\u2019m not going to let you die out here.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tProducers include\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/damien-chazelle\/\" id=\"auto-tag_damien-chazelle_1\" data-tag=\"damien-chazelle\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Damien Chazelle<\/a>\u00a0and Olivia Hamilton for their Wild Chickens Productions banner through its first-look deal with Paramount. Also producing are Temple Hill Entertainment, Ayer for Crave Films and Pitt for Plan B. Richard Raymond serves as co-producer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tAyer most recently helmed last year\u2019s Jason Statham action vehicle\u00a0A Working Man and previously directed Pitt in 2014\u2019s\u00a0Fury. His other features include\u00a0Suicide Squad,\u00a0Bright\u00a0and\u00a0The Beekeeper.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tPitt led director Joseph Kosinski\u2019s 2025 racing film\u00a0F1\u00a0that picked up four Academy Award nominations and also starred Damson Idris, Kerry Condon and Javier Bardem. Pitt\u2019s other recent credits include Wolfs\u00a0alongside George Clooney and Chazelle\u2019s 2022 movie,\u00a0Babylon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tCinemaCon is the annual event for exhibitors and Hollywood studios that runs this year from April 13-16.
