{"id":613191,"date":"2026-04-17T15:45:13","date_gmt":"2026-04-17T15:45:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/613191\/"},"modified":"2026-04-17T15:45:13","modified_gmt":"2026-04-17T15:45:13","slug":"aprilias-trick-motogp-inspired-street-bike-sells-out-in-just-two-weeks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/613191\/","title":{"rendered":"Aprilia\u2019s trick MotoGP-inspired street bike sells out in just two weeks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Aprilia says its MotoGP-inspired X 250th special-edition street bike sold out all its units in just two weeks, following its reveal at the US Grand Prix.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/motogp\/news\/1092133\/1\/aprilia-unveils-ultra-limited-150k-track-day-weapon\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Italian manufacturer revealed the special X 250th<\/a> during the Austin MotoGP round, decked out in a stars and stripes livery to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the USA\u2019s signing of the Declaration of Independence.<\/p>\n<p>The RSV4-based X is, according to Aprilia, \u201cthe first and only bike on the market in the world fitted with carbon-carbon brakes\u201d, which is technology derived from its MotoGP bike.<\/p>\n<p>In a press release from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/motogp\/teams\/aprilia-racing\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Aprilia<\/a>, the X \u201cenables braking performance and feel comparable to that of the Aprilia RS-GP ridden by Marco Bezzecchi and Jorge Martin\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The X 250th also features updated aerodynamics to bring it closer in spec to the MotoGP bike it is inspired by.<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p>Aprilia unveiled the bike on 27 March during the US MotoGP weekend, with the firm noting that requests for the machine were immediate.<\/p>\n<p>An ultra-rare model, with just 30 examples produced, all of them &#8211;
