We were missed last Friday due to Masters mania, but boy how things change in a week’s time. Shortly after Rory McIlroy claimed his second green jacket, rumors started swirling that LIV Golf was on the verge of having its funding pulled by the Saudi Public Investment Fund and shutting down for good. For the YouTube-inclined, that means one thing and one thing only: Bryson DeChambeau could soon have a lot of extra time on his hands.

Should LIV Golf really end, the prevailing wisdom is that DeChambeau will land back on the PGA Tour. However, he has spoken in the past about how doing YouTube full time would be an “incredibly viable option” for him, so that’s something worth watching in the coming weeks. Now, speaking of stuff worth watching …

 J-Day, All Day

Two things seem to be all the rage in YouTube golf at the moment: The somewhat loosely applied definition of “pro” and serialized competition series (blame the Internet Invitational for at least one of those). Grant Horvat and the Bryan Bros recently announced their own professional creator league, Your Golf Tour, and this week they continue their prep for YGT’s $1-million grand prize with The 2-Man All Pro Tournament.

Starring 2015 PGA Championship winner Jason Day, 2017 RBC Heritage champ Wesley Bryan, as well as Ryan Ruffels and more, the tournament will unfold over three episodes with a different format and host channel each time. The lowest cumulative score after 27 holes takes home the bragging rights. It’s not a premise that sparkles with creativity given the similar content we’ve seen lately—and even Horvat has to admit he’s not actually “pro”—but how does it hold up as a piece of golf entertainment? Honestly, pretty good!

RELATED: If LIV Golf is really dead, was the 2026 Masters the final nail in its coffin?

Listen, not every video needs to reinvent the wheel, and this doesn’t, but is it good, clean fun? You betcha. If you’re fatigued with the format, maybe spend your screentime elsewhere this week, but Jason Day—who filmed this the day after the final round of the 2026 Players—puts in a great performance both as both a player and as a personality. Admittedly, I haven’t watched a ton of Day’s channel, The Lads, but his attention to detail really stands out. That’s not exactly surprising for a 13-time tour winner, but Day is also great at communicating the nitty gritty of a shot and how he plans to execute it to the audience. Five years ago, we would have said Day has a promising career ahead of him in the broadcast booth if he wants it. Perhaps now, YouTube is that post-PGA Tour gig when the time comes.

Beyond that, just enjoy the ride. We all know what we’re getting from Horvat and Bryan at this point. I wish the sun was shining—uncontrollable, but still a YT pet peeve of mine—but the wind does kick up and create a fun challenge, so there’s that. It was a slower week on YouTube with a lot of the big channels anticipating a Masters hangover, but this star-studded match is well worth a watch.

 Quick Hits

Bob Does Sports

The BDS gang dropped two new ones this week. First, we have another hater match between Joey Cold Cuts and an online troll (who just so happens to be a single-digit handicap). If you like trash talk and the looming threat of violence, this is for you. Second, the fellas team up to try beat 242 (cumulative) at Streamsong Black. Come for the A-tier track and stay for Joey’s meltdown.

The Golf Supply

Speaking of nice tracks, The Golf Supply holds their Masters-themed major finale at The K Club this week. The loser has to shave their head, so really this is even higher stakes than the Ryder Cup the famed Irish club hosted in 2006.

Good Good Golf

If you’ve been following along with Good Good Survior, episode four dropped this week. Otherwise, the Good Good main channel has been fairly quiet the last few weeks. The Good Good Championship isn’t until November, so are they gearing up for something big in the interim? Time, as always, will tell.

Brad Dalke

After getting cheated by Garrett Clark in a video earlier this year, Brad Dalke is out for revenge. Dalke doesn’t need any help to beat Clark straight up, but fire must be fought with fire, so the Internet Invitational winner cooked up some black magic to take down his Good Good brother. Check it out.

Ryan Ruffels

Meanwhile, if you didn’t get enough Ryan Ruffels in your life from Horvat’s video, the Aussie pro continues his 1v1 series with a rematch against former Good Gooder, Ben Hadden. Ruffels, who has already beaten the likes of Sean Walsh, Luke Kwon and George Bryan in his series, calls Hadden “by far one of the best and most underrated golfers on YouTube.” If that’s true, expect the flagsticks at Lost City Country Club to be cowering in a corner by the time this one is over.

This article was originally published on golfdigest.com

Welcome back to The Feed.
