WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. \u2013 The Gustavus Adolphus College women’s golf team competed in the opening day of the Rumble at the Ridge, hosted by Bethel University at the Oneka Ridge Golf Course. The Gusties competed as two of the four teams on Saturday with Gustavus B team taking first place with a score of +65 and the A team finishing as the runner-up two strokes back at +67.<\/p>\n
Luther College placed third behind both Gustie teams with a score of +102. The College of Saint Scholastica took fourth at +110.<\/p>\n
Two members of the Gustavus B team had the top two Gustie scores. Josie Raiche<\/a> had the top score for Gustavus, finishing as the individual runner-up with a round of +10. Layla Mathews<\/a> followed in third at +11.<\/p>\n Lauren Hubbart<\/a> placed fourth overall, shooting +14 on the day. Emily Kolb<\/a> shot +16 to take sixth overall. Addison Longie<\/a> tied for seventh at +18. The Gustie duo of Sydney Lovick<\/a> and Riley Zebroski<\/a> tied for ninth overall at +19 to round out the top-ten overall scores.<\/p>\n Mary Kate Hewitt<\/a> had a round of +25 to place 14th overall. Teckla Wahlstrand<\/a> shot +31 to place 19th.<\/p>\n Up next for Gustavus is the second day of the Rumble at the Ridge in which nine teams are scheduled to compete in match play. The Gusties will go head-to-head against UW-Eau Claire with a shotgun start scheduled for 9:30 a.m.
