Jordan Clark has long had the wood over West Coast – and now he\u2019s got a Glendinning-Allan Medal to add to his superb record against Fremantle\u2019s cross-town rivals.<\/p>\n

Clark said it was \u201cvery humbling\u201d to be acknowledged for a dashing western derby display across half-back in Freo\u2019s 56-point thumping, edging out spearhead teammate Jye Amiss to snare best-on-ground honours.<\/p>\n
The defender had equal game-high tallies of 27 disposals and 11 score involvements, while racking up 622 metres gained. He added a rare goal to his tally – just the 10th of his Dockers career – after benefitting from a 50m penalty conceded by Harley Reid.<\/p>\n
Clark polled eight of a possible nine votes across the three medal judges, who voted in a 3-2-1 format. Amiss polled six votes and Murphy Reid was the only other player to feature with four.<\/p>\n
The win helped Clark continued his personal domination of West Coast across his career, with just one career loss in 10 matches against the Eagles.<\/p>\n
Clark said he was thrilled to have performed well on the big stage.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s very humbling to win the medal,\u201d Clark told The West Australian.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s not something you set out at the start of the game to get a hold of. It\u2019s a nice little compliment to say you played a nice game.<\/p>\n
\u201cOnly one person on the ground can win it. When I reflect on it, and I\u2019m sure I will later (on Sunday night) when I get home and I\u2019m sitting by myself with my dogs.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut it\u2019s nice to have a team win and play well in it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clark paid tribute to his teammates after edging out Amiss for best-on-ground honours.<\/p>\n
\u201cJye Amiss had a fair game \u2013 he kicked five goals\u2026 and little Murphy Reid I thought was sharp,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019re probably two guys who were right up there, and I think in time, they\u2019ll probably win a few themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n
The 2025 All-Australian became the first defender from either club to snare the Glendinning-Allan Medal since West Coast\u2019s Brad Sheppard in 2019.<\/p>\n
The performance came in Clark\u2019s 100th consecutive game to start his Fremantle career since crossing from Geelong at the end of 2021. He became the first Docker who didn\u2019t begin his AFL career with the WA club to win derby best-on-ground honours since Josh Carr almost two decades ago in 2007.<\/p>\n
