The NFL draft is now officially a week away. While other teams have clearly defined areas of need like quarterback or skill players, the Denver Broncos<\/a> are hoping to add strength to strength in the NFL draft.<\/p>\n

While the Broncos<\/a> have seven picks<\/a> in the upcoming draft, there is no clear best choice for them to make. Sure, they could improve in areas like tight end, running back or wide receiver, but Bleacher Report’s Alex Ballentine suggested one dark horse (pun intended) area of improvement Denver could make: offensive line<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Broncos<\/a> head coach Sean Payton recently called<\/a> the offensive line “one of the most important positions on your team.” While Denver had two first-team All-Pro players<\/a> on their offensive line in 2025, there is no denying the group is starting to age. Left tackle Garett Bolles<\/a> (33) and right tackle Mike McGlinchey<\/a> (31) are both on the wrong side of 30, while there are young, up-and-coming players waiting in the wings (such as Alex Palczewski<\/a> and Frank Crum<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Ballentine highlighted three players who may be on Denver’s radar when they make their first pick at 62nd overall: Max Iheanachor from Arizona State, Jude Bowry of Boston College and Florida’s Austin Barber. Of those three, only one (Bowry<\/a>) has met with Denver before the draft (that we know of<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Although the offensive line is strong now, there is nothing wrong with developing younger talent when it’s time to pass the torch from veteran to youth.<\/p>\n
