The UFC wisely plans to have tons of security<\/a> on hand for UFC 328 fight week when Sean Strickland and Khamzat Chimaev are around. But they can\u2019t stop the two from potentially killing each other in the streets!<\/p>\n

In a new video on social media, Strickland actually lamented the fact that Chimaev passed on the chance to have a pre-fight rumble in public. \u201cTarzan\u201d spent the day in Newport Beach, California trying to get the Chechen fighter\u2019s attention with a bunch of Instagram tags.<\/p>\n

\u201cI generally don\u2019t post my location or my whereabouts, I don\u2019t really drop pins where I\u2019m at,\u201d Strickland said. \u201cI just don\u2019t like to. But I was on Instagram and some stupid s–t popped up in my feed about Chimaev saying you\u2019ll try to fight me or kill me in the streets.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDude, I was like ten minutes from your gym,\u201d he continued. \u201cI was dropping tags and locations all day on my Instagram. Your homies that train with you follow me. They were seeing my stories. You had to know where I was at. Ten minutes from your gym, brah, probably right down the street from you. I thought, part of me thought you\u2019d show up. But we all know with [Paulo] Costa when he called your card, \u2018Hold me back, hold me back!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Strickland is referring to an incident at the UFC PI<\/a> from three years ago when Chimaev tried to start something with Paulo Costa, only to get dragged away by training partners.<\/p>\n

In this case with Strickland, Chimaev gave an interview<\/a> in Russian where he was asked if he\u2019d try to kill Sean over the disrespectful things he\u2019s said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want to kill a man. Haram,\u201d Khamzat replied. \u201cOut in the streets, it\u2019s different. If he dies, he dies. But in the cage, it\u2019s a sport.\u201d<\/p>\n

Out in the streets is different because that\u2019s where Sean Strickland is always armed<\/a> with at least one gun. In a not so subtle reminder of that fact, Strickland filmed this latest video in front of a wall of automatic rifles.<\/p>\n
