A man some have labeled “Captain Canada” closed the show on the high, however, when Mike Malott (14-2-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) sent former welterweight title challenger Gilbert Burns (22-10 MMA, 15-10 UFC) into retirement with a third-round TKO<\/a> in his most high-profile performance to date.<\/p>\n

The UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance payout<\/a> for the event totaled $176,500.<\/p>\n
