SOUTHPORT, N.C. – William & Mary women’s golf earned its highest finish at the CAA Championship in a decade, and sophomore Jennifer Osborne<\/a> became the first Tribe player to earn a top 10 at the league championship in four years on Sunday at The Reserve Club at St. James.

\nAs team, the Tribe finished in fifth place (955 +91), marking its best showing\u00a0at the league championship since coming in third in 2016. W&M fired a final round 322 (+34) to finish 10 shots ahead of sixth-place N.C. A&T. Charleston won the CAA Championship, edging UNCW by two shots.

\nOsborne earned her first career top 10, finishing in a share of eighth place behind a three-round total of 227 (+11). She carded her second 75 (+3) of the tournament in the final round. Osborne totaled 13 pars and a birdie on Sunday. Her eighth-place finish and score is the best for a Tribe player since Sarah Houle finished fourth behind a 223 (+7) in 2022.

\nFreshman Reagan Garnsey<\/a> recorded her third top 20 of the season, finishing in 19th place. She posted a three-round score of 233 (+17).

\nJunior Samantha Skinner<\/a> notched her best round of the CAA Championships on Sunday. She tallied a birdie on each side to register the Tribe’s second-best score of the day at 79 (+7). In total, Skinner finished in 30th place at 246 (+30).

\nJuniors Katie Suk<\/a> and Faith Garcia<\/a> rounded out the Tribe lineup, finishing in 34th and 37th at the CAA Championships. Suk finished with a 250 (+34) total, while Garcia carded a 256 (+40).
