Paddy Pimblett is looking forward to his return to the cage, he\u2019s looking forward to earning another UFC title shot, and he\u2019s looking forward to rematching Justin Gaethje.<\/p>\n
Gaethje took a hotly contested back-and-forth war with Pimblett back at UFC 324, and while few contest the results it\u2019s hard to ignore the multiple bad eye pokes<\/a> \u201cThe Highlight\u201d landed on \u201cThe Baddy\u201d during their fight. Pimblett certainly hasn\u2019t forgotten<\/a> about them, and he\u2019s hoping a chance to face Gaethje again arises in the future.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m gonna be fighting in like twelve weeks or something like that,\u201d Pimblett said, confirming previous reports that he\u2019ll be at UFC 329<\/a> in July. \u201cI\u2019m gonna be back and someone\u2019s getting muftied. I\u2019m coming back for revenge after I lost my last fight. It\u2019s one of them. Everyone loses and that\u2019s how you learn. It\u2019s how you get better. I probably learned more from losing that fight than winning seven other UFC fights, but I\u2019ll be back better and stronger. And everyone\u2019s gonna see.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve always said it\u2019s in me destiny that I\u2019m gonna be the world champion, and I will. At some point in your career you need a loss to realize stuff, and I think that was that point in my career. And hopefully I get the rematch with Gaethje, I got nothing but respect for him but he\u2019s a dirty bastard poking me in the eyes. So I really hope we get that rematch some day.\u201d<\/p>\n Pimblett may not get that opportunity as Gaethje has said he\u2019d retire<\/a> if he loses to Ilia Topuria at the UFC White House event on June 13th. But there\u2019s always a chance (albeit a small one according to bookies)<\/a> that Justin could knock out Ilia.<\/p>\n
