The Adelaide 36ers confirmed on Monday that they have bolstered their roster for the Hungry Jack\u2019s NBL27 season by signing champion Bul Kuol to a multi-year deal.<\/p>\n

The defensive-minded wing, who represented South Sudan at the 2024 Olympic Games, joins the Sixers on a two-year deal.<\/p>\n

Kuol has appeared in 133 NBL games across stints with Cairns and Sydney, averaging 9.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.<\/p>\n

He was named the NBL Rookie of the Year in 2022 during his time with the Taipans and has since built a reputation as one of the league\u2019s most intense and physical perimeter players.<\/p>\n

Adelaide 36ers General Manager of Basketball Operations Matt Weston said Kuol\u2019s recent championship experience would be a major asset for the group.<\/p>\n

\u201cBul is a proven competitor who brings toughness, versatility and a team-first mentality,\u201d Weston said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s someone who can guard multiple positions, apply pressure defensively and still make an impact on the offensive end.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat balance is incredibly valuable in today\u2019s game.<\/p>\n

\u201cComing off a championship season, he understands what it takes to win at the highest level in this league.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat experience, combined with his professionalism and work ethic, will make him a great addition to our group.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old is currently working his way back to full fitness after sustaining an ACL injury in January.<\/p>\n

Kuol joins Bryce Cotton, Zylan Cheatham, Flynn Cameron, Isaac Humphries, Nick Rakocevic, Isaac White and Ben Griscti as contracted players for Mike Wells\u2019 squad next season.<\/p>\n
