The French legend has praised <a href=\"https:\/\/cyclinguptodate.com\/tadej-pogacar\" title=\"Tadej Pogacar\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tadej Pogacar<\/a>, who won this year&#8217;s edition, as potentially the best that this sport has ever seen.\u201cI think he\u2019s the best cyclist we\u2019ve ever seen. At times, it even looks like he\u2019s searching for something more, like he needs a different kind of challenge,&#8221; D\u00e9mare said in words to <a href=\"https:\/\/rmcsport.bfmtv.com\/cyclisme\/le-mec-s-ennuie-tellement-demare-sans-filtre-sur-la-domination-totale-de-pogacar-qui-veut-ecrire-une-histoire-que-personne-n-a-faite_AV-202604180208.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">RCM Sport<\/a>. D\u00e9mare argued that Pogacar operates under a different set of goals, due to his ability on the climbs. It is ultimately something that has given him the opportunity to fight for wins in almost every race he starts; whilst he is also well within range to win <a href=\"https:\/\/cyclinguptodate.com\/paris-roubaix\" title=\"Paris-Roubaix\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Paris-Roubaix<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This difference in ability isn&#8217;t just noticeable on the mountains, but also in the moments where he does not have to hit the front. \u201cYou\u2019re at full gas, thinking about positioning before a climb, and he\u2019s completely relaxed.
