Adam Doueihi (Tigers) — +6.95

As aforementioned, Doueihi has been excellent in 2026 and his running game has been a major factor in leading Benji Marshall’s side to third place after seven rounds.

Even while carrying injury niggles, Doueihi was able to break the line with ease and has been a nightmare for defensive lines, considering he can kick, run or put his teammates into space.

2. Tanah Boyd (Warriors) — +6.19

Who say this one coming?

Tanah Boyd has been simply excellent for the Warriors and deserves his spot on this list, especially considering his form to start the season.

The former Titan has been so good, many are calling for him to retain the No.7 long-term and Andrew Webster even handed Luke Metcalf the No.6 when he returned.

3. Jahrome Hughes (Storm) — +6.15

Jahrome Hughes has quietly been putting together a solid season and has still been one of the Storm’s best in 2026, despite an ugly slump with Melbourne sitting in 15th.

A significant portion of their attack comes through Hughes, and his combination with fullback Sua Fa’alogo has been lethal.

Braith: “Have some balls!” | 01:41

4. Jamal Fogarty (Sea Eagles) — +5.5

Jamal Fogarty endured a slow start in his time at the Sea Eagles, but under Kieran Foran has been excellent, helping Manly to surge back into the top eight.

The experienced halfback has done an excellent job steering his side around the park and his kicking game in particular has been a highlight.

5. Jayden Campbell (Titans) — +4.93

When the Titans score points, it’s a fair guess that Jayden Campbell is involved.

The Gold Coast playmaker is consistently strong and hardly puts in a big performance, with his running game, like Doueihi, being the best factor of his skillset which he has put to use this season.

6. Lachlan Galvin (Bulldogs) — +4.62

Lachlan Galvin has found his feet in recent weeks, with arguably his best performance to date coming in an upset victory over the Panthers.

The young gun’s combination with Jacob Preston is forming nicely, and that pairing’s attacking output will have contributed heavily to Galvin’s score here.

Get all the latest NRL news, highlights and analysis delivered straight to your inbox with Fox Sports Sportsmail. Sign up now!!!

Kyle treatment caused players split? | 01:22

7. Nathan Cleary (Panthers) — +4.59

It’s somewhat surprising to see Nathan Cleary this low on the list considering the Panthers’ start to their 2026 campaign.

However, it’s a testament to how strong Penrith are when their superstar halfback, who has been excellent, isn’t fully dominating their Red Bull High Flyer Rankings.

8. Tom Dearden (Cowboys) — +4.44

The Cowboys have been piling on the points in their recent wins, and Tom Dearden has been a central figure in steering his side around the park.

The 25-year-old will have his eyes firmly fixed on Origin selection in the coming weeks, so expect his form to continue.

9. Nicho Hynes (Sharks) — +4.41

Nicho Hynes has been solid for the Sharks to start this season, with his halves partner Braydon Trindall tallying a score of +4.04 so far.

That’s a testament to how much that pairing share the load, with Cronulla incredibly dependent on both of their playmakers to produce points.

MORE NRL NEWS

BURNING Qs: Dominoes to fall after Flanno axing; ugly recruitment truth laid bare

TEAM TIPS: Dragons’ clean-out on the cards after Flanno sacking; Bulldogs’ huge boost

CONTENDERS: Why obvious choice isn’t a lock for the job

‘Players need to pull their fingers out’ | 01:24

10. Isaiya Katoa (Dolphins) — +4.26

The Dolphins prodigy has been down on form by his usual lofty standards but still slots into this list.

His team overall haven’t been able to deliver, especially in the forwards, and as such attack hasn’t been as fluent as last season, which sees Katoa’s attacking output reduced.

Red Bull High Flyer Rankings – halfbacks after Round 7.Source: FOX SPORTS

HOW DO THE RED BULL HIGH FLYER RANKINGS WORK?

It is worth clarifying that PSV is not a score out of 10. Instead, each player is ranked relative to their PSV, a model which measures how much each player contributes to the final scoreboard.

The system processes more than 15,000 data points per game, analysing every run, pass, kick, error and penalty as the game unfolds.

The model is based on deriving the intrinsic value of every single action that occurs in a match relative to the final scoreboard using a proprietary AI model.

It means that every moment in the game is assessed based on how it changes a team’s likelihood of scoring.

For instance, if an action such as a linebreak or linebreak assist improves the chance of points, the player responsible gains PSV.

If they concede a penalty or drop the ball, however, it reduces the chance and their PSV decreases accordingly.

These changes are tracked across the entire game to produce a total performance value for every player, allowing them to be ranked based on their overall impact on the game rather than just traditional statistics.

Because every action is valued on the same scale, PSV allows players across different positions to be compared fairly and highlights the moments that have the biggest influence on the result.

Now, of course, there is going to be some variation among positions as forwards generally build their scores through repeated involvements such as runs and tackles while spine players and outside backs are more involved in scoring actions and hence likelier to see bigger spikes in their score.

The Tigers are flying high despite a tight loss to the Broncos in Round 7, and their reliable…

[568
64,63,761,762,158,85
0":"post-620686","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-nrl","8":"tag-au","9":"tag-australia","10":"tag-national-rugby-league","11":"tag-nationalrugbyleague","12":"tag-nrl","13":"tag-sports
["GET
