\n\tNoah Kahan<\/a> rolled up to NPR<\/a>\u2019s Tiny Desk for a four-song performance that featured the debut of two tracks from his upcoming album, The Great Divide<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tKahan opened his performance with one of those new cuts, \u201cAmerican Cars,\u201d which he previously shared a snippet of online. The full version found Kahan and his band singing in delicate multi-part harmony, \u201cYou know that I miss you, you always come running back\/Whenever I ask, whenever I ask.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tNext, Kahan played the \u201cThe Great Divide,\u201d then followed it up with \u201cOrange Juice,\u201d a standout from his 2022 breakthrough album<\/a>, Stick Season<\/a>. Afterward, Kahan joked about the somber tone his music often hits, quipping, \u201cThe songs are really sad, I know that, so thank you guys for keeping your smiles on your faces.
