during which changes to the cars were agreed.<\/a><\/p>\nBut Lawson has conceded that F1 drivers will never be completely happy when it comes to the performance of any car they are given.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt the end of the day, there’s always going to be things that we want from the car,\u201d he told media including RacingNews365.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs racing drivers, we kind of complain about everything so I think that’ll never change.\u201d<\/p>\n
Speaking ahead of Monday’s crunch meeting in which changes were agreed, Lawson detailed that the safety element was the most important factor following Oliver Bearman’s high-speed crash in Japan last time out.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn the regulation side, the biggest thing right now is probably the safety aspect of it, especially with what we saw in Japan,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think that’s something that we want to avoid in the future going forward. And on the performance side, that’s something that obviously will always evolve.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf you look at any other regulation, the start of it, there’s been a huge sort of development over the five-year process that the regulations have been out.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cSo, I’m sure these will obviously evolve and get faster and I’m sure we’ll find ways to make the cars nicer to drive.<\/p>\n
