Throughout the Big Bang Theory<\/a>‘s 12 seasons, Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons<\/a>) and his crew of quirky scientists got up to some interesting and unexpected adventures.<\/p>\n

In the April 20 episode of Watch What Happens Live<\/a>, hosted by Andy Cohen<\/a>, Parsons gave his opinion about the Big Bang Theory’s \u201cmost ridiculous\u201d\u00a0storyline, as reported by Us Weekly<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“They were all rather silly, right? I mean, we went to space,” said Parsons on Watch What Happens Live.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly reported that Parsons had been alluding to Howard Wolowitz’s (Simon Helberg) trek to outer space in the show’s fifth and sixth seasons.<\/p>\n

While Howard showed off his strengths as an astronaut, Helberg revealed he declined the chance to be on a space flight in a 2012 interview at the San Diego Comic-Con<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I politefully [sic] said no,” said the actor.<\/p>\n

He then quipped that he didn’t want to go because he knew “there’s not going to be a great food selection there.”<\/p>\n

“I’m a picky eater. So I thought you can always go to space, but when can you really have a good sandwich? So I said no,” joked Helberg in the 2012 interview.<\/p>\n

He also said that a Big Bang Theory fan was given the opportunity to be on the space flight instead.<\/p>\n

Jim Parsons Doesn’t Want a ‘Big Bang Theory’ Reboot<\/p>\n

In the April 20 Watch What Happens Live interview, Parsons said he doesn’t think there should be a reboot for The Big Bang Theory, which ended in 2019.<\/p>\n

“I don’t see any reason to do that. I know some people might enjoy it, but we had such a good experience. Like, let’s not. Nothing against anybody, or the thing itself, it’s wonderful, but it was so wonderful, I’m like, ‘Let it be,'” explained the actor, who returned as Sheldon to narrate the Big Bang Theory prequel series, Young Sheldon, throughout its seven-season run.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly reported that Parsons said he didn’t believe there’ll ever be a Big Bang Theory reboot in an April 2026 episode of The View<\/a>. In addition, he said he doesn’t really miss Sheldon because he shares quite a few qualities with the Caltech scientist.<\/p>\n
