\u201cEvery time you come to a tournament, you want to win, you want to have the trophy in your hand, but actually doing it has been very surreal.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m just going to try to ride this wave for as long as possible.<\/p>\n
\u201cComing into this week before last week, I was probably thinking, \u2018OK, a top-10 result would be really good\u2019, but now I\u2019m more hungry to continue the success that I\u2019ve had so far.<\/p>\n
\u201cI want to win \u2026 but I feel like it\u2019s also a really hard task to win back-to-back weeks.<\/p>\n
\u201cI did that in Australia (last month), but probably (in) a little bit different field, not a major championship, so I want to make sure that even though I am very confident that I\u2019m not getting too ahead of myself.<\/p>\n
\u201cStaying patient out there is what you have to do to win major championships, so that\u2019s what I\u2019m going to try to focus on.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Green has made winning a habit recently, she hasn\u2019t tasted success in a major since the 2019 Women\u2019s PGA Championship.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese are the events that you want to peak for,\u201d the world No.5 said.<\/p>\n
\u201cComing off a win helps me in a way but probably puts more eyeballs on me, so I\u2019m hoping that outward attention doesn\u2019t affect me too much.<\/p>\n
\u201cI haven\u2019t really played my best in majors in the past, so I\u2019m hoping that I can somewhat have a different approach and use this confidence to help me get through those weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n
With this week\u2019s event being played at Memorial Park, Green has sought the advice of Australian men\u2019s star Min Woo Lee, who won last year\u2019s Houston Open on the same layout.<\/p>\n
\u201cMin Woo is really known for how far he hits it off the tee, but he says it himself, he\u2019s probably not the most accurate player, which is kind of somewhat like me \u2013 I\u2019m not probably the most accurate off the tee,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe said the fairways are pretty generous. He loves it here.
