Boxing brothers Tim and Nikita Tszyu are involved in a family feud after being driven apart in recent weeks.<\/p>\n

The pair have supported each other throughout their boxing careers to date – until Nikita was nowhere to be seen at Tim\u2019s Easter weekend bout with Denis Nurja.<\/p>\n

Nikita, 28, explained he was absent from the fight due to illness, a comment that was laughed off by Tim.<\/p>\n

He responded to a video of Nikita\u2019s explanation with two laughing emojis.<\/p>\n

And Tim, 31, has now confirmed to CODE Sports<\/a> that he told his brother not to show up to his fight.<\/p>\n

Nikita has responded by confirming the split, and he said he does not care if Tim attends his clash with Oscar Diaz on May 6.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want to get into it too much,\u201d Nikita told CODE Sports.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know you guys feed off the spicy drama and everything that\u2019s happening between us, but you are correct.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tim and Nikita have been regulars at each other\u2019s fights with the former fiercly supporting his brother following his no contest with Michael Zerafa in January, calling Zerafa\u2019s decision to pull out a \u201ccowardly act\u201d.<\/p>\n

The pair have not revealed the reason behind their feud but it could arise from Tim\u2019s acrimonious split from long-term manager Glen Jennings.<\/p>\n

Tim and Jennings\u2019 row over money led to a legal dispute, and Nikita\u2019s decision to support Jennings, whom he is also managed by, is understood to have angered Tim\u2019s camp.<\/p>\n

It is also not the first time the Tszyu family has split, with Tim banning his father, boxing icon Kostya Tszyu, from being in his corner.<\/p>\n

Tim said his dad\u2019s presence caused \u201cchaos\u201d at his debut fight in 2016, and he was a distraction at his October 2024 defeat to Bakhram Murtazaliev, after which Tim imposed the ban.<\/p>\n

News.com.au has reached out to promoters No Limit but they declined to comment.<\/p>\n
