{"id":62368,"date":"2025-08-12T11:07:09","date_gmt":"2025-08-12T11:07:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/62368\/"},"modified":"2025-08-12T11:07:09","modified_gmt":"2025-08-12T11:07:09","slug":"teenage-version-of-marc-marquez-scouted-in-moto3-with-more-desire-than-his-rivals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/62368\/","title":{"rendered":"Teenage version of Marc Marquez scouted in Moto3 with more desire than his rivals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">A sensational teenage talent has been spotted in Moto3 with an uncanny likeness to Marc Marquez.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Marquez conquered the 125cc class in 2010 before stepping up to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/moto2\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Moto2 <\/a>where he only needed two seasons to win a second world championship.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">But with Marquez now topping the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/motogp\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">MotoGP <\/a>standings and on course for a ninth title overall, a rider with similar attributes is making waves in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/moto3\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Moto3<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Maximo Quiles is only 17 years old and is in his rookie campaign in the class.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">He sits fourth in the standings at the summer break and has won his maiden grand prix in Italy this season.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cQuiles? Talk about a star of the future, winning races in MotoGP,\u201d TNT Sports\u2019 Neil Hodgson said.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cAbsolutely, that kid is so talented.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Last time out at Brno, Quiles outfought Dennis Foggia to finish as runner-up and extend a good record of finishing on the podium.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cQuiles is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/motogp\/racer\/1654\/marc-marquez\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Marc Marquez<\/a>, he has to win,\u201d Hodgson said after another impressive ride from the teenager.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cHe just has this drive and desire more than anyone else I\u2019ve seen in Moto3.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cFive podiums in seven grands prix? It\u2019s crazy.
