He\u2019s got a massive YouTube following (2.67 million subscribers).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf he stayed on the PGA Tour, that probably wasn\u2019t going to happen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The report emerging that DeChambeau may become a full-time YouTuber who dabbles in major golf was still a shock, however. <\/p>\n<p>It also came after a disappointing fortnight for DeChambeau, personally.<\/p>\n<p>He missed the cut at Augusta National with a triple bogey on the final hole of his second round.<\/p>\n<p>He then <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxsports.com.au\/golf\/bryson-dechambeau-withdraws-from-liv-mexico-city-as-jon-rahm-claims-dominant-win-liv-announces-2027-return-to-mexico-despite-future-funding-being-in-doubt\/news-story\/38c1fdb15ba526113aeaef72da076e05\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">withdrew from LIV Mexico City before the final round<\/a>, citing a wrist issue.<\/p>\n<p>It was not a good look considering DeChambeau had spat the dummy with the condition of the course earlier in the tournament, and Miller reported that he was spotted in a tense conversation with fellow superstar Jon Rahm on the practice green before the opening round.<\/p>\n<p>While he did not address any of those issues directly, DeChambeau did hint at his next move in men\u2019s professional golf\u2019s civil war.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of moving parts like in any business. It\u2019s a start-up, right?\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd so there\u2019s going to be times where we\u2019re squeezed and punched. This is one of those moments. But I\u2019m going to do everything in my power to make it work and I really see the value in franchise golf.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd, you know, another reason why I\u2019m doing this is not just for myself and the team aspect that I really believe in on the Crushers side. It\u2019s for Michael LaSasso. It\u2019s for Caleb Surratt. It\u2019s for Josele Ballester. It\u2019s for David Puig. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cJon, Phil, DJ, myself and the guys that have been here from the start, we\u2019re okay. It\u2019s now our responsibility to take care of these kids that believe in us. That\u2019s why I\u2019m really doing it. I haven\u2019t given up on that and I think there will be a solution,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut as of right now, my job is to help make the league work after this year. I just feel like I have a responsibility. I\u2019ve put a lot of effort into it. So that\u2019s what I\u2019m going to do, we\u2019re going to make this work.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He was then asked what will happen if they cannot make it work, and that was when DeChambeau uttered: \u201cAs long as LIV is here, I would figure out a way for it to make sense.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Flushing It\u2019s post on social media with the quotes from their interview with DeChambeau were greeted with positive responses by LIV veterans Lee Westwood and Ian Poulter.<\/p>\n<p>The former European Ryder Cup stalwarts had been on the attack at reports about DeChambeau exploring his options during The Masters with both the Englishman labelling them \u201cbulls***\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>While this time around, Poulter implored the golf world \u201cstop the bulls***\u201d and \u201cget back to golf\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The latter is what DeChambeau is eager to do at LIV\u2019s Virginia event next month, leading into the second major of the year, the PGA Championship.<\/p>\n<p>He said he is \u201cpretty darn confident\u201d that he will be ready to go in two weeks\u2019 time despite the wrist problem.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI didn\u2019t even hurt myself Saturday. I just felt it get sore on Sunday,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI really have no idea. I didn\u2019t do anything. It\u2019s one of those things that, you know, it\u2019s probably stress, but it\u2019ll be fine. I\u2019m getting treated on it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bryson DeChambeau of Crushers GC reacts from second green during day one of LIV Golf Mexico City.Source: Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Adding to the intrigue around DeChambeau\u2019s situation is that he broke down in tears after winning LIV\u2019s maiden South African event last month.<\/p>\n<p>A personal matter was what left him so emotional, but DeChambeau stressed that he will not let the negatives in life get him down on the course in the coming months.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMan. It\u2019s freaking golf. And nobody gets it. It\u2019s like, you\u2019re one of the best in the world. And everything is going great off the course. But I\u2019m still human, dude,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s so hard to perform when you\u2019ve got so much stuff going on in your life. People just don\u2019t understand that. It\u2019s definitely not easy.
