\n\tDrake<\/a> is hard at work finishing his ninth solo album Iceman<\/a> \u2014 even if everyone around him isn\u2019t working at all.<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring a Kick stream with Adin Ross, the Toronto rapper said he planned to burn the midnight oil to work on his upcoming project while there was some sort of party outside of where he was recording.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019ll stay up all night f\u2014ing recording for\u00a0Iceman,\u201d he told Ross<\/a>. \u201cThey\u2019re having a full-blown party outside. I can hear a thousand people, them having a street festival all day. I\u2019ll f\u2014ing run out there. I\u2019ll turn up with them, do shots, come back \u2014 like, I just want a little, you know, I wanna feel it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tElsewhere on the stream, Adin revealed he\u2019s had the privilege of already listening to the highly anticipated project, but Drake wasn\u2019t exactly enamored with the way he delivered the news.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019ve already listened to the whole Iceman album. I already listened to everything, he sent me the whole album early\u2026 Great album,\u201d the popular streamer told the chat before Drake responded with, \u201cNow people are gonna say that you\u2019re underwhelmed by it when you f\u2014ing talking about it like that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt was f\u2014ing amazing,\u201d Adin then answered.<\/p>\n

\n\tThis wasn\u2019t the first time Drake worked on new music while a party was happening near where he was recording. A few months back, OVO signee Smiley<\/a> said he noticed his label boss working on new music during parties and while filming the \u201cNokia<\/a>\u201d music video.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe\u2019re at a party and he was in the other room by himself eating pasta with wired headphones writing music while we have a whole f\u2014ing party going on,\u201d Smiley said in a clip<\/a> shared on social media. \u201cHe\u2019s on a different mode right now. Even at the \u2018Nokia\u2019 video shoot\u2026in the breaks, he had a bunch of producers and was just recording. So, he\u2019s in that crazy mode right now. You see his captions\u2026the man\u2019s talkin\u2019 his sh\u2013 because he\u2019s in that mode right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIceman does not have an official release date yet.<\/p>\n
