Fans are convinced that\u00a0MGK<\/a>\u2019s new single \u2018Fix Ur Face\u2019 includes a sly diss at both Yungblud <\/a>and The Osbournes.<\/p>\n

This week, the artist formerly known as Machine Gun Kelly\u00a0released his first\u00a0new music <\/a>since his 2025 album \u2018Lost Americana<\/a>\u2019 in the form of the\u00a0nu-metal throwback \u2018Fix Ur Face\u2019, featuring\u00a0Limp Bizkit<\/a>\u2019s Fred Durst.<\/p>\n

Just hours after the track\u00a0was\u00a0released, however, fans began to\u00a0speculate\u00a0that the song might\u00a0contain\u00a0a barbed shot at MGK\u2019s one-time friend and collaborator Yungblud \u2013 a suggestion that MGK only helped encourage when he posted on X: \u201cI see one\u00a0particular line is going over your heads\u201d.<\/p>\n

The line in question appears to be: \u201cMickey Mouse kids turned rockstars \/ Leaving private schools,\u00a0tryna\u00a0be outlaws\u201d.<\/p>\n

Yungblud attended the private day and boarding school Ackworth School in Yorkshire and later enrolled at the independent Arts Educational School in London, and he later appeared on the Disney show The Lodge, for which\u00a0he even recorded the song \u2018Tell It Like It Is\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

That isn\u2019t all though \u2013 fans have also identified another possible attack in the following lyric. \u201cAnd all the\u00a0oldheads\u00a0tryna\u00a0kill the vibe \/ But rock\u2019s not dead as long as I\u2019m alive,\u201d MGK sings, and many have taken that to be a shot at the Osbournes, with whom Yungblud is close.<\/p>\n

This could stem from a 2024 episode of\u00a0The Osbournes\u00a0podcast, which featured Yungblud as a guest. Kelly Osbourne made an offhand comment about MGK co-opting Yungblud\u2019s use of pink and she and mother Sharon signalled that they were no fans of MGK. While Yungblud appeared somewhat uneasy at the comments, fans have pointed out that he also did not defend him at the time.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

MGK and Yungblud\u2019s relationship\u00a0dates back to\u00a02019 when\u00a0the latter appeared on \u2018I Think I\u2019m Okay\u2019<\/a>, a track from MGK\u2019s album \u2018Hotel Diablo<\/a>\u2019 that year. In 2020, MGK returned the favour, appearing on Yungblud\u2019s \u2018Acting Like That\u2019.<\/p>\n

They performed \u2018I Think I\u2019m Okay\u2019 at Reading 2019, and\u00a0NME\u00a0sat them down together backstage to talk about their friendship<\/a>. Watch the video from that day above, in which they talk about their first time working together, singing\u00a0Oasis<\/a>\u2019 \u2018Supersonic\u2019 at karaoke and how Yungblud broke his hand on a night out together.<\/p>\n

In 2020,\u00a0MGK spoke to\u00a0NME\u00a0again<\/a>, and said he reached out to Yungblud because \u201cI was a fan of everything he does, including his attitude and his way of dressing.\u00a0His raw voice is so good, and he has an immense love for rock \u2019n\u2019\u00a0roll. Those energies gravitate towards each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

Describing their friendship as \u201cfree-spirited\u201d,\u00a0he continued: \u201cIt feels like a dope, across-the-pond thing, like: \u2018You hold it down over there and I\u2019ll hold it down over here.\u2019 Together we can make some sort of union of rock stars.\u00a0We\u2019re\u00a0like Elton John and Jimi Hendrix\u00a0back in the day.\u201d<\/p>\n

MGK\u2019s\u00a0world tour\u00a0resumes on\u00a0May 15 in Wheatland, California and runs until July 1 in Ridgefield, Washington \u2013 find any remaining tickets\u00a0here<\/a>. He will also be playing at Summer Sonic in Tokyo in August and Rock in Rio in September.<\/p>\n
