Taylor Swift<\/a> has officially announced TS12, and fans literally can’t calm down over the title of the brand-new album<\/p>\n

Just past midnight on Tuesday, Aug. 12, the music superstar announced her twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, which doesn’t even have an exact release date yet.<\/p>\n

The news came out after the cryptic countdown on Swift’s website<\/a> eventually timed out at 12:12 a.m. ET, bringing fans to a storefront where they could pre pre-order The Life of a Showgirl on vinyl, CD and cassette.<\/p>\n

Even with a limited amount of details regarding the highly-anticipated new album, Swifties were already going insane over the news.<\/p>\n

“SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH,” one fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter)<\/a> after seeing Swift officially confirm the title in a preview video<\/a> for the Wednesday, Aug. 12 episode of Travis<\/a>and Jason Kelce<\/a>‘s New Heights<\/a> podcast.<\/p>\n

“SHUT UP RIGHT NOW THE LIFE OF A SHOWGIRL,” someone else tweeted<\/a>, while other Swifties expressed their excitement with messages like, “I’M IN SHOCK<\/a>” and “IM SO EXCITED FOR THIS NEW ERA<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

“Taylor Swift\u2019s new album The Life of a Showgirl sounds like it\u2019s about to turn every breakup into a Vegas residency,” another user quipped<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Aside from the title, the details regarding the brand-new album are still shrouded in mystery. Not only is the release date still yet to be announced, but Swift, 35, still hasn’t even unveiled the album artwork for The Life of a Showgirl.<\/p>\n
