Local festival fans are encouraged to circle September 28 in their travel diaries as high-energy music<\/a> act TWANG is set to headline York Festival 2025.<\/p>\n

Poised to come alive across two weekends, the annual multi-arts spring festival will take place at York<\/a> Racecourse and promises to showcase theatre, dance, and music, with a host of family friendly activities on offer.<\/p>\n

Igniting the Avon Valley, TWANG is billed as an upbeat, guitar-heavy experience performed by an impressive line-up of musicians.<\/p>\n

Featuring Scarlet\u2019s Way, Nathan Gaunt & The Sunset Riders, and Lucky Oceans\u2019 New Darling Rangers, the evening will also provide the launching pad for the Western Australian National Guitar Festival which is set to debut in full in 2026.<\/p>\n

WA guitar legends Chris Gibbs and Craig Skelton are the behind the festival\u2019s curation.<\/p>\n

Catering for arts lovers and star gazers alike, York Festival encourages attendees to get footloose on the grass or chill-out zones, fill their bellies at the food trucks, or lounge with a drink in hand.<\/p>\n

The festival will launch on September 26 with a performance by Perth-based violinist-composer Rupert Guenther, with ZAP CIRCUS hosting A Circus Sensation on October 3 and 4.<\/p>\n
