For my latest project, I wanted to build something that was not only more affordable but also portable, so that the racing rig wasn\u2019t in the way when not in use.<\/p>\n<p>I found my answer in the form of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.playseat.com\/en-nl\/products\/playseat-challenge-dd-f1-edition\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Playseat Challenge DD F1 Edition<\/a>. At $799 in Australia, it\u2019s not cheap, but by sim racing standards, it\u2019s a reasonably priced mid-range cockpit. Best of all, it folds up and packs away with your chosen steering wheel and pedals still attached.<\/p>\n<p>I paired the seat with several Logitech racing accessories this time, including the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.logitechg.com\/en-au\/shop\/p\/rs50-system\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">RS50 System<\/a>, which is compatible with consoles and PC.
