ROLAND Dane has shared a particularly measured view on Supercars parity in season 2026.<\/p>\n

The \u2018p-word\u2019 has been spoken aplenty this month given Ford\u2019s utter dominance of the opening four events \u2013 to the point where an official investigation was actually triggered after Round 3.<\/p>\n

Chevrolet was subsequently granted minor tweaks to shift its aero balance rearward<\/a>, but that did little to get much more of a golden presence at the pointy end of the timing screens besides Anton De Pasquale<\/a>\u2019s front-row start in the Sunday race at Ruapuna.<\/p>\n

Dane, as team principal of PremiAir Racing which fields Camaros for Jayden Ojeda<\/a> and Declan Fraser<\/a>, was quizzed on the topic \u2013 and while he admitted surprise at off-season changes being made to the GM, had a bigger picture view.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf this has now corrected any anomaly that might have been there, then great,\u201d he told V8 Sleuth.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I think the positive thing for me is seeing Anton second on the grid (on Sunday) and you\u2019ve got the three manufacturers in the top three.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t quite agree with what Barry Ryan said the other day, when he said we haven\u2019t got any A-graders<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Undercut returns in a massive week of sport, with Aaron Noonan once again joined by Jack Perkins, breaking down the inaugural New Zealand double header!<\/p>\n

\u201cI think we have got one, and we have got potential in some of the others in the Chevy side. But we have got one A-grader at the moment and we have got several guys with plenty of potential to be there, but they\u2019re not there yet.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo we have to look at the job we\u2019re doing as teams before we look at some parity issue.\u201d<\/p>\n

PremiAir did show signs of progress in Christchurch, with Ojeda nabbing two top 10 starts and an eighth-place finish, while Fraser broke through for his first top 10 finish of the season in the Sunday race.<\/p>\n

The quartet of GM squads are ranked sixth (Team 18), eighth (Matt Stone Racing), 10th (PremiAir) and 11th (Erebus Motorsport) in the teams\u2019 championship.<\/p>\n
