Day 1 of the 2026 NFL Draft is in the books, and the New Orleans Saints<\/a> walked away with Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson at pick No. 8. While New Orleans<\/a> could still target a wide receiver on Day 2, it’s unlikely, which means that the Saints will have several other positions to fill.<\/p>\n

The Saints were rumored on Day 1 to be interested in trading up to select a player, but they held tight and, as a result, maintained their position on Day 2 of the draft. New Orleans, a team not afraid to move around, has seven more picks to go \u2014 plenty of ammunition to make a splash for the future.<\/p>\n

When is Day 2 of the 2026 NFL Draft?<\/p>\n

The first round of the 2026 NFL Draft was held on April 23 in Pittsburgh. The final two days:<\/p>\n

Friday, April 24, 6 p.m. CT: Rounds 2-3<\/p>\n

Saturday, April 25, 11 a.m. CT: Rounds 4-7<\/p>\n

Remaining picks held by the Saints<\/p>\n

Round 4, Pick 136 (Compensatory selection)<\/p>\n

Round 5, Pick 172 (via Seattle Seahawks)<\/p>\n

Saints Day 2 pick times<\/p>\n

Teams have seven minutes to make their selections in Round 2 of the draft. With the Saints holding the 11th pick in the second round, the latest time that the team will be on the clock is 7:10 P.M. CT, though the selection could come earlier. It’s extremely difficult to forecast when exactly New Orleans will be on the clock in Round 3.<\/p>\n
