After the March update, there have been reports of Pixel phones getting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidauthority.com\/google-pixel-march-update-boot-loop-3655031\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">stuck in boot loops<\/a>. More recently, owners have claimed that they\u2019re experiencing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.androidauthority.com\/pixel-battery-drain-bug-3657219\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">excessive battery drain<\/a> after the update. As one <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/GooglePixel\/comments\/1ssnv16\/comment\/ohv1vip\/?context=3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Pixel 9 owner<\/a> explains, the issue has become so severe that even basic functions, such as typing, suffer unbearable delays. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/GooglePixel\/comments\/1s5bppy\/as_of_today_my_pixel_9_has_suddenly_become_laggy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Another Pixel 9 owner<\/a> claims that their device is only three months old, is undamaged, and has plenty of space, yet it suddenly became laggy after a recent update. Meanwhile, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/GooglePixel\/comments\/1rsdgw2\/pixel_march_security_update_is_lagging\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Pixel 8 owner<\/a> says navigating apps has become a stuttering mess as apps lag and the refresh rate drops.<\/p>\n<p>Have you experienced any major glitches with a recent Pixel update?<\/p>\n<p>433 votes<\/p>\n<p>Nope! All fine here!<\/p>\n<p>52%<\/p>\n<p>Yup, my Pixel&#8217;s not working.<\/p>\n<p>48%<\/p>\n<p>A majority of the reports we\u2019re seeing come from Pixel 8 and 9 owners. However, the issue appears to be affecting every device from the Pixel 6 and up. These users all suspect that the issue is related to the March and April 2026 updates.<\/p>\n<p>At the moment, Google has not acknowledged the problem.
