Signal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCryogen,\u201d with its winding riff from Matt Bellamy and its propulsive drumming from Dominic Howard, immediately recalls Muse\u2019s older sound from the early aughts; the riff almost feels like an alternate version of \u201cPlug-In Baby,\u201d with a similarly brash guitar tone. The rest of the track is back in Muse\u2019s rock-centered pocket, with the lyrics seeing Bellamy envisioning a freezing environment on Europa (one of Jupiter\u2019s moons) and how, basically, it\u2019s as cold as his heart. The track also ends with a fun Muse-style breakdown.
