UFC middleweight champion, Khamzat Chimaev has been talking ahead of his UFC 328 main event, however, it isn’t about his opponent in New Jersey.<\/p>\n

UFC middleweight champion, Khamzat Chimaev, has slammed Ronda Rousey ahead of his UFC<\/a> 328 outing against Sean Strickland. He has slammed former UFC<\/a> women’s bantamweight champion for her recent comments on the UFC<\/a>, stating<\/a> that “There never would have been Ronda Rousey without the UFC”.<\/p>\n

Khamzat Chimaev vs Ronda Rousey<\/p>\n

The ‘beef’ between Khamzat Chimaev and Ronda Rousey lies with Rousey’s comments on the UFC having signed for Most Valuable Promotions. The megastar is set for a May showdown<\/a> with fellow pioneer of women’s MMA, Gina Carano, under the promotion of Dana White’s rival, Jake Paul.<\/p>\n

Chimaev, a huge name in the UFC and a potential megastar in the making, is simply defending the company that he works for. Rousey produced a foul-mouthed rant on the UFC and the current bantamweight champion, Kayla Harrison, whilst promoting her upcoming bout. Rousey commented on Harrison, saying “I am so relevant that the only reason she has a job at the UFC is because of me”.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Chimaev commented further on Rousey, whose main issue appears to be with the pay that UFC fighters receive, saying, “I hate this. If they pay good or they don\u2019t pay good, who cares? When she was Olympic champ, what did she make then?\u201d<\/p>\n

Since leaving the UFC, there is no denying that Rousey has done well for herself. Leaving on a negative note, with back-to-back brutal knockouts, Rousey signed for the WWE, even going on to win the prestigious Royal Rumble<\/a>, booking her place at Wrestlemania 28.<\/p>\n

Chimaev Must Focus on UFC 328<\/p>\n

Khamzat Chimaev should shift his focus from beefing with Ronda Rousey to his upcoming UFC 328 main event. It marks the first time that he will be defending the UFC middleweight title, having won the belt in a dominant fashion at UFC 319. He dominated the former champion, Dricus du Plessis, to a unanimous decision in one of the most one-sided title fights in UFC history.<\/p>\n

At UFC 328, he takes on the former UFC middleweight champion, Sean Strickland. The two men have a bitter rivalry dating back years. Expect an entertaining fight week, with brutal shots being thrown whenever possible.<\/p>\n
