Add us as a preferred source on Google to your favourites list<\/a> for news you can trust.<\/p>\n Sargeant, from Fort Lauderdale, Florida in the United States, made his Formula 1 debut in 2023 with Williams, as a graduate of the Grove-based team\u2019s driver academy.<\/p>\n Sargeant would score just the one point across 36 grand prix starts. He was replaced by Franco Colapinto following the 2024 Dutch Grand Prix.<\/p>\n After making his return to racing the following year in sports cars, Sargeant has found a new home in endurance racing.<\/p>\n Debuting at the 2026 World Endurance Championship season-opener at Imola \u2013 with Proton Competition \u2013 Sargeant will form one-third of Ford\u2019s 2027 Hypercar line-up.<\/p>\n In an interview with Motorsport.com<\/a>, Sargeant was asked whether he misses his former life in Formula 1.<\/p>\n \u201cNo,\u201d he declared. \u201cI\u2019m very desensitised \u2013 I guess is the right word \u2013 to F1.<\/p>\n \u201cI really don\u2019t care, to be honest.
