Not only are the Storm losing, they’re getting thrashed, with the 2024 and 2025 grand finalists a -110 points differential in their last four games.

It’s simply hard to fathom.

The Souths loss was the worst of the lot. Coach Craig Bellamy said he has never felt more embarrassed.

Munster, who has been uncharacteristically poor in the last month, was strong as well in his post-game interview with Fox League’s Lara Pitt, labelling the performance as “appalling”

“We spoke about today about how lucky we are to play on a day like Anzac Day. You want to turn up for your teammates, club and the soldiers who served our country,” Munster said.

“We all had moments we want to have back as players and as a group.

“We were very poor again … As a spine, we’ve been very poor.

“It’s frustrating because we’re training so well. We’ll have to go back to the drawing board.”

Captain Harry Grant was also struggling to come to terms with Melbourne’s current situation given the group have been training well.

Untimely errors and a lack of discipline are at least a couple of reasons though as Grant explained.

“He (Bellamy) was pretty filthy with our efforts. We were completing at 55% or something like that,” Grant said.

“He was upset with our start of half and challenged us to go out and do it but it’s really disappointing we didn’t respond well to that.

“I think it’s important we maintain high standards. We’ve been training well and like I said, it’s not transferring on the field but we just got to

“There’s obviously going to be some noise but we can’t control that so we lock into our four walls and go after some things we need to in our game.

“The main thing is keep preparing well and stay together.”

The Storm’s next chance to end their six-game slide will come next Friday when they travel to Brisbane to face the Dolphins, who are also out to break an ugly losing streak.

Storm stars Cam Munster and Harry Grant failed to provide answers for the dreadful run of form their…

[568
64,63,761,762,158,85
post-631296","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-nrl","tag-au","tag-australia","tag-national-rugby-league","tag-nationalrugbyleague","tag-nrl","tag-sports
["GET
