Their investigation plunges them into the shadowy corners of New York and beyond \u2014 where the trio uncovers a dangerous web of secrets connecting powerful billionaires, old-school mobsters, and the mysterious residents of the Arconia. The trio discovers a deeper divide between their storied city they thought they knew and the new New York evolving around them \u2014 one where the old mob fights to hold on as newer, even more dangerous players emerge.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tNew additions to the cast for season five include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/renee-zellweger-only-murders-in-the-building-season-5-1236173314\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ren\u00e9e Zellweger<\/a>, Keegan-Michael Key, Christoph Waltz, Logan Lerman, T\u00e9a Leoni, Beanie Feldstein, Dianne Wiest and Jermaine Fowler.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tMartin and John Hoffman created the series, with Hoffman serving as showrunner. They executive produce with Short, Gomez, Dan Fogelman, Jess Rosenthal, Ben Smith and JJ Philbin.
