Nikishin returned with the team to Raleigh and is following the NHL&#8217;s concussion protocols.  <\/p>\n<p>Nikishin suffered a hard hit at 15:29 in the second period of Saturdays 4-2 series clinching win over the Senators.  Nikishin was making a play on the puck when Tyler Kleven leveled Nikishin into the boards.  Nikishin remained on the ground as fights opened up around him.  Nikishin was eventually helped off the ice and struggled to gain his balance.  <\/p>\n<p>Kleven was originally called for a five-minute major penalty, but upon review it was rescinded.  <\/p>\n<p>The Hurricanes await the winner the Flyers and Penguins series.
