The seven-round NFL draft<\/a> concluded in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Tennessee<\/a> running back Star Thomas<\/a> was not drafted.<\/p>\n

He received an invitation to rookie minicamp with the Titans<\/a>, according to Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Former Tennessee running back Star Thomas has been invited to rookie minicamp with the Titans,” Zenitz announced<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Thomas played for the Vols in 2025, his only season at Tennessee. He transferred from Duke<\/a>, New Mexico State<\/a> and Coffeyville Community College.<\/p>\n

Thomas appeared in 13 games at Tennessee and totaled 596 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on 104 attempts. He also recorded 11 receptions for 116 yards and two touchdowns.<\/p>\n

In one season with the Blue Devils in 2024, Thomas recorded 871 rushing yards, seven rushing touchdowns, 20 receptions, 153 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown.<\/p>\n

Mel Kiper Jr. of ESPN ranked Thomas as the No. 25 running back<\/a> for positional rankings ahead of the NFL draft.<\/p>\n
