The Perth Bears are reportedly set to sign Bulldogs flyer Jonathan Sua on a four-year deal ahead of their inaugural season in 2027. <\/p>\n

It is one of the longest contracts the Bears have on their books ahead of their first campaign in the NRL, which shows how highly Mal Meninga regards the Bulldogs winger. <\/p>\n

Sua has made two appearances for the Bulldogs in 2026 and was a standout in their loss to the Broncos in Round 8. <\/p>\n

The 21-year-old progressed through the Bulldogs\u2019 pathway system and has caught the eye of multiple clubs with his elite finishing and try-scoring. <\/p>\n

He made his NRL debut in the final round of the 2024 season against the North Queensland Cowboys, but did not feature last season.<\/p>\n

However, he did score 15 tries in 21 games in NSW Cup in 2025 and has forced his way into the Bulldogs side in 2026. <\/p>\n

Off-contract in 2026, Sua has been free to negotiate with rival clubs from November 1 last year. <\/p>\n

However, Sua has decided to join the Bears revolution in the West and has been rewarded with a monster four-year deal to continue his career in Perth. <\/p>\n
