Jos Verstappen has suffered a frightening crash at the Rallye de Wallonie but remarkably walked away unscathed.<\/p>\n
The Dutchman, 54, the dad of four-time Formula 1 world champion Max, was competing at the Belgian event alongside Jasper Vermeulen as his regular partner Renaud Jamoul was recovering from ankle surgery.<\/p>\n
The pair abandoned the race following the high-speed crash \u2014 which saw the car strike a tree while trying to perform a right turn.<\/p>\n

The person capturing the amateur footage then loses sight of the Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 as the tree falls into the road, before they catch up with the vehicle which has flipped over on its side and has smoke coming out of it.<\/p>\n
A wheel and a host of debris was also scattered across the road.<\/p>\n
Fortunately, the race organisers later confirmed Verstappen and Vermeulen were not injured in the scary crash.<\/p>\n
A statement read: \u201cJos \u2018The Bos\u2019 Verstappen\u2019 has been forced to leave after a crash at Loyers.<\/p>\n
\u201cA clearly nightmare weekend for the pilot, who already had the absence of his co-pilot Renaud Jamoul, injured following a double fracture of the malleolus.<\/p>\n
\u201cDespite everything, more fear than harm. Jos Verstappen and Jasper Vermeulen come out unharmed.\u201d<\/p>\n
