\nGamebred Bareknuckle MMA 10<\/a> headlining matchup against Yoel
\nRomero<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As a result, Alex
\nNicholson<\/a> will step in and face Romero in a light heavyweight
\nbout on Friday at Unrivaled Arena in Miami. Jorge
\nMasvidal<\/a> recently announced the change via social media. The
\nreason for Lombard\u2019s exit is unclear. Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA 10
\nwill also see Luis
\nPalomino<\/a> square off against Darrell
\nHorcher<\/a> at lightweight in the evening\u2019s co-main event. The card
\nairs free via YouTube with prelims beginning at 7 p.m. ET\/4 p.m. PT
\nfollowed by the main card at 9 p.m. ET\/6 p.m. PT.<\/p>\n

Romero will be making his Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA debut, but he
\nhas competed in a number of different combat sports endeavors in
\nrecent years, including Dirty Boxing, BKFC and Real American
\nFreestyle. Most recently, \u201cSoldier of God\u201d lost a controversial
\ndecision to Vagab
\nVagabov<\/a> at IBA Bare Knuckle 4 in Russia on March 28. A former
\n
\nUFC<\/a> middleweight title challenger, the 48-year-old Romero
\nhasn\u2019t fought standard MMA since a decision win over Thiago
\nSantos<\/a> at a PFL vs. Bellator event in February 2024.<\/p>\n

Nicholson, 35, had stints in both the UFC and
\nProfessional Fighters League<\/a> while compiling a 20-13 mark in
\nhis MMA career overall. \u201cThe Spartan\u201d is 3-2 under the Gamebred
\nBareknuckle banner.<\/p>\n
