<\/p>\nAi Ogura led an Aprilia 1-2-3 in MotoGP’s first in-season test, sniping the top spot from Trackhouse team-mate Raul Fernandez in the final minutes.<\/p>\n
Ogura and Fernandez were the only riders to go below the 1m36s mark, the former just 0.005s ahead of the latter – with championship leader Marco Bezzecchi best of the rest.<\/p>\n
They were still a couple of tenths adrift of the best laptime of the past weekend, set by eventual Spanish Grand Prix winner Alex Marquez in Friday practice. But they did considerably improve upon Aprilia’s best lap.<\/p>\n
Marc Marquez was the fastest of the Ducatis in fourth place, while Johann Zarco led the Hondas.<\/p>\n
Two other manufacturers beyond Aprilia improved on their best weekend times – KTM with Pedro Acosta and Yamaha, by nearly a quarter of a second, with Fabio Quartararo.<\/p>\n

Aero was the apparent point of attack for most factories in the test, with Aprilia’s experimentation most striking – in this case taking the form of two ‘handle’-style winglets on the sides of the windscreen.<\/p>\n
