The staff for the television anime<\/a> of Firehead<\/a> and YahaKo<\/a>‘s A Wild Last Boss Appeared!<\/a> light novel series revealed at the “Earth Star Novels 10th Anniversary Summer Festival” event on Saturday the show’s first promotional video. The video reveals and previews Kishida Ky\u014ddan & The Akeboshi Rockets<\/a>‘ opening theme song “Level wo Agete Butsuri de Naguru” (Level Up and Beat the Laws of Nature).<\/p>\n

The anime will premiere<\/a> in October. The anime had its world premiere<\/a> at this year’s Anime Expo<\/a> event. <\/p>\n

The anime stars:\n<\/p>\n

Y\u016bya Horiuchi<\/a> (Nijiyon Animation<\/a>, Nijiyon Animation 2<\/a>) is directing the anime at studio Wao World<\/a>, and WOWMAX<\/a> is producing the anime. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu<\/a> (Is the order a rabbit?<\/a> franchise, Girls’ Last Tour<\/a>) is overseeing the series scripts, Maiko Ebisawa<\/a> (key animator for Wonder Egg Priority<\/a>, Sword Art Online: Alicization<\/a>) is designing the characters for animation, and Takashi Kobayashi<\/a> (Time Travel Girl<\/a>, Magikano<\/a>) and Sh\u014dta Ueno<\/a> (Seirei Gensouki – Spirit Chronicles<\/a>) are the sub-character designers.<\/p>\n

Firehead and YahaKo launched the A Wild Last Boss Appeared! (Yasei no Last Boss ga Arawareta!<\/a>) story on the Sh\u014dsetsuka ni Nar\u014d (Let’s Be Novelists) website in 2015, and the series ended in 2017. Earth Star Entertainment<\/a> published the ninth and final light novel volume in print in April 2019.<\/p>\n

Manga artist Tsubasa Hazuki<\/a> launched a manga adaptation on the Comic Earth Star<\/a> manga website in 2017. J-Novel Club is also publishing the manga in English. The book franchise has 1.4 million copies in circulation.<\/p>\n
