Cameras are rolling on the Netflix movie, which is set in the world of classical music and stars <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/leonardo-sbaraglia\/\" id=\"auto-tag_leonardo-sbaraglia\" data-tag=\"leonardo-sbaraglia\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Leonardo Sbaraglia<\/a> (Pain and Glory).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe film is the latest out of Netflix <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/argentina\/\" id=\"auto-tag_argentina\" data-tag=\"argentina\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Argentina<\/a>, which enjoyed global success with <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/the-eternaut\/\" id=\"auto-tag_the-eternaut\" data-tag=\"the-eternaut\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Eternaut<\/a> and has greenlit a busy slate of movies and series of late, as well as moving into expanded new offices in <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/buenos-aires\/\" id=\"auto-tag_buenos-aires\" data-tag=\"buenos-aires\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Buenos Aires<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tEl Sobrino comes from K&amp;S Films, the label that produces The Eternaut. The drama comedy will follow a world-renowned pianist (Sbaraglia) who, at the peak of his power, finds his life turned upside down when he discovers that his nine-year-old nephew has a musical gift that could eclipse his own. There is no confirmed English-language title yet; it translates as The Nephew.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tSzifron directs from his own script. Filming kicked off today in Ramos Mej\u00eda, in Buenos Aires Province. We hear that the journey of the protagonists will take in Argentina, Hamburg, London and New York.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tJoining Sbaraglia in the cast are Rita Cortese, Luisana Lopilato and Valeria Lois, alongside newcomer Luan Adler Fuks. There will also be special appearances from Vincent Macaigne and iconic Italian star Franco Nero (Django).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tAs shooting commenced, Szifron said: \u201cLeo [Sbaraglia] is at an incredible point in his acting career: lucid, profound, mature and vital, and I am especially excited about the reconnection with my beloved Rita, meeting Luisana and Valeria, discovering such a young and unique actor as Luan, and the opportunity to collaborate with Franco Nero, my childhood idol.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tK&amp;S previously worked with Szifron on Tiempo de Valientes and Relatos Salvajes. Mat\u00edas Mosteirin, Hugo Sigman and Leticia Cristi are producing his new movie.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cDami\u00e1n is back with a vengeance: El Sobrino is surely the best script we\u2019ve ever read,\u201d said Mosteirin. \u201cSzifron plays with genres and shows us that comedy can lead us, with humor and beauty, to explore profound themes of the human condition.
